Installation Wall preparation
- Before starting the application, ensure that the wall surface is smooth, clean and dry. When renovating tiled walls, the use of a smoothing compound such as MAPEI Planiprep 4LV is recommended.
- Adhesive application
Apply Mapei Ultrabond Eco Décor Wet Adhesive evenly using a suitable trowel, ensuring effective adhesion of the material. - Wallcovering installation
Install the Crystal Weave panels edge to edge, without overlapping. Gently press with a trowel, aligning the graphics and removing any excess adhesive. - Final protection
After two hours, apply Mapei Mapecoat Décor Protection using a short-pile roller to ensure complete waterproofing. Complete the process by sealing the joints with silicone sealant, ensuring a flawless installation. - Maintenance
Once the installation is fully dry, the surface can be cleaned with neutral soap. Avoid acidic cleaning products to preserve the protective layer and the material’s durability.
